NOTICE OF YOUR FINANCIAL PRIVACY RIGHTS:
We, our, and us, when used in this notice, includes Warren Bank and any of its affiliates. You and your, when used in this notice, mean the following types of customers:

  • All of our customers who have a continuing relationship with us, such as:
  • Deposit account
  • Loan account
  • Safe deposit box
  • Self-directed Individual Retirement Account where we act as custodian or trustee
  • Home mortgage
  • All former customers

Within this privacy policy, we will tell you the sources for nonpublic personal information that we collect on our customers, and we will tell you what measures we take to secure that information. We will also provide you with some terms to help you understand our privacy policy.

Nonpublic personal information means information about you that we collect in connection with providing a financial product or service to you. Nonpublic personal information does not include information that is available from public sources such as telephone directories or government records.

An affiliate is a company we own or control, a company that owns or controls us, or a company that is owned or controlled by the same company that owns or controls us. Ownership does not mean complete ownership, but means owning enough to have control.

A nonaffiliated third party is a company that is not an affiliate of ours.

SAFEGUARDING CUSTOMER INFORMATION. 

THE CONFIDENTIALITY, SECURITY, AND INTEGRITY OF YOUR NONPUBLIC PERSONAL INFORMATION:

We restrict access to nonpublic personal information about you to those bank employees and our affiliates who need to know that information to provide products or services to you. In addition, we maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards that comply with federal standards to guard your nonpublic personal information.

NONPUBLIC PERSONAL INFORMATION AND FORMER CUSTOMERS:
As we indicated above, your privacy is important to us. Even if you are no longer a customer, or become an inactive customer, we will continue to follow the privacy policies and practices as described in this notice.

THE INFORMATION THAT WE COLLECT:

  • We collect nonpublic personal information about you from the following sources:
  • Information we receive from you on applications or other forms, by telephone, the Internet, or otherwise. Examples of this type of information include your name, address, social security number, credit history and other financial information. 
  • Information about your transactions with us, our affiliates, or with others. This includes for example, your payment histories, account balances, and other transaction records. 
  • Information from nonaffiliated third parties. For example, to verify information that you have provided.  
  • Information from a consumer-reporting agency (i.e. credit reporting agency) such as information relating to your creditworthiness, your credit score and credit usage. 

THE INFORMATION THAT WE SHARE: 
We are permitted to share all of the information that we collect about you, as described in this policy, with our affiliates.  An example of an affiliated company is our mortgage company.    

We may share this information for the following purposes:

  • To provide you with the products and services you requested.
  • To offer you additional products and services, from us or from others, that may be of interest to you.
  • To comply with reporting or other legal requirements.
  • To otherwise conduct business. 

To provide additional services, we may disclose all of the information we collect, as described above, to companies that perform marketing services on our behalf, or to other financial institutions with whom we have joint marketing agreements.

Please remember that we do not disclose nonpublic personal information about you to nonaffiliated third parties, except as permitted by law and in accordance with joint marketing agreements.    

SHARING CREDIT REPORTS WITH WARREN BANK AFFILIATES:
We are permitted to share your name, address and facts about your transactions and experience with us (such as your payment history and other transactions on your accounts with us) among our affiliates. 

Unless you request otherwise, we may also share your “credit report” among our affiliates. You may direct us not to share information in your credit report with other Warren Bank affiliates by completing and mailing the “opt-out” notice located at the end of this policy.  

WHAT A CREDIT REPORT INCLUDES:
A credit report is any written, oral, or other communication from a consumer reporting agency which bears on a consumer’s credit worthiness, credit standing, credit capacity, character, general reputation, personal characteristics, or mode of living which is used or expected to be used in whole or in part for the purpose of serving as a factor in establishing a consumer’s eligibility for: a) credit or insurance to be used primarily for personal, family, or household purposes; b) employment purposes; or c) any other purpose authorized under Section 604 of the Fair Credit Reporting Act.  

YOUR OPT-OUT OPTION: 
If you prefer Warren Bank not to share “credit report” information with its affiliates, please complete the following opt-out notice. Be sure to provide ALL of the information requested, and SIGN AND DATE the form. If you have previously sent us an opt-out and would like to opt back in, please write to us at the address below. 

Please remember that your opt-out option is only applicable to the sharing of “credit report” information with Warren Bank affiliates; it does not include identifying information (such as your name and address), transaction and experience information, or application information.  

Once we receive your opt-out notice, we will stop sharing this information as soon as reasonably practical. Your opt-out will apply to all accounts you hold individually and to all accounts you hold jointly with other persons. Your opt-out will not apply, however, to any accounts your joint account holders hold individually or jointly with persons other than you. If your joint account holders wish to opt-out as to such other accounts, they will need to submit a separate opt-out notice.
